Ball took place under a tent on the grounds of the Lockwood-Mathews
Mansion Museum in Norwalk. The benefit dinner-dance celebrated the
fortieth anniversary of the gala. The black tie event included cocktails,
dinner and dancing to the music of the Joe Holmes Band. Members of
the original ball committee were honored for their commitment to raising
funds to repair the original mansion, researching its history and
training volunteer docents. Karen Aylward and Mimi Findlay were cochairman
of the ball committee. |
